Communications Manager

City of Asbury Park – Asbury Park, NJ (2020–Present)

• Oversee all City communications, including press releases, newsletters, social media, Nixle alerts, website updates, and digital signage

• Manage and program two municipal cable and streaming channels (APTV), leading a small team of producers to create community-focused content

• Coordinate communications across City departments, including Police, Fire, Public Works, Transportation, and Finance

• Develop and maintain citywide style guides, templates, and messaging standards to ensure accuracy and consistency

• Partner with City leadership (City Manager, Mayor, and Council) to draft official statements, reports, and annual publications

• Support civic engagement through promotional campaigns for events, meetings, and public initiatives

• Provide IT support as Deputy IT Director: oversee HelpDesk operations, manage Microsoft 365 and Cisco Meraki networks, and troubleshoot citywide systems
